The Subjects and their Governor. Manors Točník, Zbiroh and Králův Dvůr under the Authority of Samuel Ignatius de Bois (1670-1690) Abstract The diploma thesis focuses on the relationship between subjects and lordship, which in this case is represented by governor Samuel Ignatio de Bois. He administered the dominions Točník, Zbiroh and Králův Dvůr from 1670 until his death in 1690. During the two decades of his administration, a lot of archival material has been preserved, on which it is possible to study in which situations the subjects interacted with the lords and how these meetings took place. The paper is based on three main topics: registration of subjects, housing of desolate farms and dismissal of subjects on foreign dominions. Relevant sources were analysed for each of these topics and the findings were built on their basis. The main sources include, in particular, lists of subjects, correspondence between the governor and the Bohemian Royal Chamber, land books and the rich file material of the Zbiroh dominion. The main findings of the work include a description of the mechanisms of dismissal proceedings, the method of registration of subjects and the way in which the governor tried to occupy the empty farms. This Bachelor Thesis focuses on the urbaria of the domain Týn nad Vltavou in the years 1719 to 1723. It includes a general definition of urbaria as important historical sources and at the same time describes, examines and compares the urbaria of this domain from diplomatic point of view in detail. This thesis further describes the history, development and economic situation of said domain in early modern times. This work also contains an edition of the urbarium of 1719 and charts including a summary overview of paid interests in this domain. This data is taken from urbaria or litarature.

Jan Lhoták Borough landed estate of Sušice. From borough villages to abolition of corvee and its results (abstract) The aim of this doctoral thesis lies in its contribution to a complex problem of economic development of Czech landowning towns in the post-White Mountain period. The research is focused on a selected problem of town feudalisation, i. e. analysis of the importance as well as extent of their seignorial activities. Czech historiography has dealt with such a topic rather marginally, because towns used to be understood as a strange element in feudal environment, which on the contrary created conditions for social modernisation. Aristocratic (chamber) or church landed estates used to be studied as a matter of priority. Introductory chapter balances current research on the topic of borough landed estates. General survey of the research in Western Europe is presented first. Seignorial ambitions of towns are part and parcel of a vast outlined study of mutual relation between the town and the country. The topic has already been applicated in archaeology and medievistics. Migration and Mobility of the Subject Population in the Třeboň Dominion in the Second Half of the 17th and in the 18th Century

The aim of this thesis is to examine and describe the migration of the subject population of the South Bohemian village of Dynín between 1661 and 1740. The analysis is based on a unique source, the 1661-1839 lists of subjects of the Třeboň dominion. The thesis uses the lists to restore lives of individual subjects. It compares the migration of the population in order to distinguish and describe five basic kinds of migration. The thesis aims to present the variability of migration. It suggests that migration and mobility of the subject population is a very complex topic that should not be simplified. The thesis examines the process of leaving the village and joining the army, which was particularly common in the 1730s. The work also compares the data provided by the lists of subjects with the information obtained from the parish and estate registers.
